Shaylyn Timmons is a passionate dance educator committed to empowering dancers and cultivating meaningful community in every class she leads. She holds a BFA in Dance Education from Arizona State University and is Barre certified. With over five years of experience as the Coolidge High School Dance Director, Shaylyn also serves as the Fine Arts Department Chair at Coolidge High School, where she leads with vision, collaboration, and a deep belief in the transformative power of the arts.

Shaylyn is especially proud to work within one of the only districts in Arizona offering Dance Education at the K–12 level, where she has championed district-wide initiatives that elevate dance as an essential part of every student’s educational experience. In recognition of her dedication and innovation, she was honored as the 2025 Recipient of the Challenge Award for the Coolidge Unified School District.

Her classes inspire dancers to explore dynamic artistry, musical nuance, and authentic storytelling. Beyond her work with high school and adult dancers, Shaylyn guest teaches across Arizona and New York, sharing her expertise in anatomy and movement science to help dancers enhance their technique, prioritize safety, and cultivate longevity in their practice.
