Suzanne Fernandez

Suzanne Fernandez, a newcomer to Arizona, has been active in the dance community in Southern California. Suzanne’s dance experience includes a couple of local companies: Victor Moreno Ballet Company (dancer & Jazz choreographer); PRincon Dance Collective (formerly Jazz Unlimited) touring Europe, Los Angeles and Mexico; Diana Valero Dancers, primarily night clubs, dinner theaters, private functions and convention venues. Presently on the board of the Mojalet Dance Collective in San Diego, she choreographs annually for their “Pearls of Wisdom” performance highlighting dancers over 50 years old. Other choreography includes the spring musicals for the Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, CA. Professionally, Suzanne has danced in “Cabaret” in Dallas, Texas; “How to Succeed in Business” in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; “The Stephen Foster Story” in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Suzanne has a BS degree in Physical Education and a minor in Mathematics from Slippery Rock State College in Slippery Rock Pennsylvania. In 2022, she retired from The Golden Door Destination Resort in San Marco, CA. Here, Suzanne was a fitness instructor (weight training, aqua aerobics, Pilates, Tap dance and aerobic dance); a Personal Trainer, assistant Fitness Director and Scheduling Supervisor, Presently, Suzanne teaches Pilates virtually, is a dog/cat sitter, and an Ambassador for the Shea sales office in Encanterra Country Club community where she lives.
