arizona All-State Dance Festival

The Inaugural Arizona All-State Dance Festival will be held on January 31st, 2026 at Scottsdale Community College!

We are excited to introduce the first EVER Arizona All-State Dance Festival! 

For 39 years, AzDEO has hosted the AZ High School and Middle School Dance Festival, where students can attend a full day of masterclasses and perform original choreography for professional adjudicators. We recently added College Expo components so dancers can explore collegiate opportunities to continue their dance learning and artistic growth beyond high school. 

The NEW Arizona All-State Dance Festival will have many features you know and love, including performance opportunities, student workshops, a teacher’s meeting, and the College Expo experience. NEW this year, is the casting of the Arizona All-State Dance Ensemble! This prestigious, audition-only opportunity for outstanding high school dancers will be featured during each performance and serve as a representation of AZ Dance ED! Information about All-State Dance Ensemble auditions can be found under the Student Opportunities section of the website.

– The Festival is open to Arizona Middle School and High School Students.

-The All-State Ensemble opportunity is an audition opportunity for High School-aged students.

–Public/Charter Schools, Private Schools, and Dance Studios may register for the festival.

Please fill out your purchase orders NOW! Registration and class availability are on a first come, first serve basis, so please register online and mail in your registration fee ASAP. Once fees (checks or P.O.) have been received, you will officially be registered for classes. Information and how to register for the event can be found below.  

The 2025 Arizona All-State Dance Festival is hosted in partnership with Scottsdale Community College Dance and made possible with funding from the Arizona Commission on the Arts.

Please note: A tech form will be sent out to teachers with students who are performing. Forms will be due by January 9th, 2026. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Registration: Open to Arizona Middle and High School-aged students

To ensure the continued  sustainability of the festival, we are transitioning to a per-student registration model this year. This change will allow us to better support the growing number of participants, offer high-quality experiences for all dancers, and cover rising production and instructional costs. We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support as we work to keep the festival thriving for years to come.
 
  • Your Registration includes:
  • 1. Student master classes from industry professionals.
  • 2. Optional performance opportunity for students.
  • 3. Optional adjudicator feedback and award opportunities for student performances.
  • 4. Exclusive performance streaming link for parents and families.
  • 5. College Expo experience including master classes provided by AZ colleges and universities and information booths.
  • 6. Teacher Meeting and Breakfast.

  • Early Bird Registration (Payment must be postmarked by 11/22/25): 
  • $25.00 per student for AzDEO/NDEO Members, $40.00 per student for Non-Members 
  •  
  • Regular Registration (11/23/25-12/19/25): 
  • $35.00 per student for AzDEO/NDEO Members, $50.00 per student for Non-Members

  • Late Registration (12/20/24-1/09/26): 
  • Fee is the same as regular registration but no option to perform. 
ADJUDICATION: 
$26.00 for AzDEO/NDEO Members, $31.00 for Non-Members. 
 
The Adjudication fee is optional and only for performing schools/studios. This is a per-school/studio fee, NOT per student fee.

REFUND POLICY: 
  1. 30 days prior to event – full refund
  2. 2 weeks prior- 50% refund
  3. 1 week prior- only adjudication, video, and t-shirt refunds only.
  4. Under 5 days – absolutely NO refund!
